Rick Star is from Stratford, CT. He has had a love for magic since the age of two years old. Rick grew up watching magicians such as Doug Henning and David Copperfield on TV. As a former wrestling personality, Rick developed the skills to become a sucesssful showman and has now combined those skills with his passion for magic. In May Of 2008, Rick decided to start performing magic full time. Rick frequents a website called Streetofcards.tv, the place where he met a variety of professional magicians such as Big Daddy Cool, Ron Jaxon, Kevin Ridgeway, Kipp Sherry and many others.. He also met his idol Jeff Mcbride. Rick has since taken a private class at Jeff McBride's Magic And Mystery School in Las Vegas. To this day Rick studies with Jeff Mcbride. RICK STAR recently performed Houdini's Mail Bag escape at the Magic Cabaret in Las Vegas. Rick has a variety of magic skills such as close-up, escapes, mentalism and he can even perform for kids! Any of these skills can be adapted for your function to help make it an event to remember. Rick is also big on charity and helps out when he can he also carries a deck of cards he has his magic friends sign and when he finishes a deck it will go to an MS charity.
